Ridiculously simple ways to Generate Way More Leads for your FIX business

This was very well received so I'm sending it out again in case you missed it

Idea #1: Go to a college in your area and take classes in sales.  Sales is the number one profession around, and you’ll be in a class with lots of people who are already looking to improve their skillset, and perhaps even looking for an opportunity.

Idea #2: Go get a spiral notebook and keep it in your car.  You’ll always be on the lookout for people to talk to and you’ll want to be able to keep track of them.  Pay attention to real estate signs, shopping car advertisements, billboards, etc.

Idea #3: Email signatures and email addresses.  When you send out an email, make sure it has a really neat signature file with all the ways to get a hold of you. Also make sure that your email address is professional.  Soccermom62729@hotmail..com wouldn’t be a good business address.  Casey@theidealnetworker.com, however, is an “ideal” (pun intended) site address.  People will plug in your domain name to find out what’s there.

Idea #4: Call your cell phone and listen to the message you’re leaving when other people are calling you.  If you change your voicemail to something spectacular, you’ll see amazing results.  I can tell you that having called Casey’s cell phone personally, it’s SO true.  His VM message makes me want to be his best friend!  And yes, I copy-catted him on that one at the advice of one of MY favorite leaders, Todd Falcone.

Idea #5: BLOGGING!  Bloggers that blog consistently, 97% of them have generated at least one paying client over the course of a year.  If you have a blog, USE IT!  If you don’t, GET ONE!  If you’re not a writer, go watch some videos or google some articles on how to be a great blogger.

Idea #6: Comment on other people’s blogs!  Well crafted comments will generate clicks!  (Casey, I’m expecting to see a comment on this blog!)  Casey himself comments on at least 3 different blogs a day.  Find people that you want in your business and start commenting on their blog.

Idea #7: Social media.  If you’re not using social media, figure out how to plug in!  FaceBook, Twitter, etc.  ‘Nuff said.

Idea #8: Airplanes.  Book yourself on 2 or 3 legs for whatever trip you’re going on.  You’ll always have 2 or 3 prospects on each side of you, and they’re a captive audience!  Stick your brochures or pamphlets in the seatback in front of you for the next passengers!  Pull down the tray tables and tape your flier to it, then put it back up!

Idea #9: Be different.  Example:  Todd Falcone always wears a shirt from a very specific designer.  Joe, another networker, always wears a really cool hat and funky glasses.  Casey always wears black converse.  My own trademark is zebra print with turquoise accents.

Idea #10: Quote action.  Sign up to give away quote actions.  It’s a daily business quote and an action item.  It’s $30 a month for 1000 people to receive it each month.  It delivers your blog, website and phone number to every subscriber every day.  You’re also providing people with good value and good content.

Idea #11: Make it a lifestyle decision to only buy products or services from direct sellers (network marketers).  I buy my nutrition products from a network marketer, my laundry soap from a network marketer, my candles, my toilet paper (when I’m not stealing it from my mom, who always seems to have an abundance!) and a lot more.

Idea #12: Leave testimonials for people, especially when someone asks for them.  Video testimonials are awesome, which reminds me, I need to do one for Casey!  Look for that soon!  A giant review website called Yelp is a great place to go to leave reviews.  You can generate tons of leads from reviewing anything and everything (and everyone).

Idea #13: At events, have people take out their cell phones and ask, “who are the people you know that you would call from jail, help change your flat tire, or invite to your funeral?”  Those are your close friends and are the ones you need to have in your closest network!

Idea #14: Take your checkbook out and look at the people you pay on a monthly basis.  Those people deserve to know what you do.  It’s important that those people (like your insurance agent) is a part of your team.  If they know what kind of people you’re looking for, they’re a great lead generator for you.  You can also provide leads for them!  If they indicate that they want to play ball with you, you don’t have to fire them!

Idea #15: Gift baskets.  Create gift baskets and donate them to charities, silent auctions, raffles…find out who ends up with your basket, then follow up with that person.  Example, Deanna does a gift basket for Arbonne and never follows up, so the person who got those products has no way of ordering from her, even though she LOVES the products.  Make sure your contact info is in the gift basket!

Idea#16: Did you know that Hebalife is a billion dollar company?  They gave all their reps green buttons that said “lose weight, ask me how”.  Wow that brings back memories (Herbalife was the first company I was ever in).  Get something made up for your business!  Pens, buttons, calendars, whatever!  “Need more referrals?  Ask me how!”  Casey suggests finding a charity that makes things like this, that way you’re helping out and giving back at the same time.  :)

Idea#17: Join toastmasters!  You’ll be practicing speeches frequently, learning how to be a great public speaker, generating leads, etc.  Give your presentations as though you’re giving them to a roomful of prospects.

Idea #18: Have a direct sales party at your home at least once a quarter.  Pampered Chef, Tupperware, PartyLite, etc.  Support your fellow network marketers!  They know a LOT of people that you don’t know, and you just might find some new favorite products.  You may also learn some great new ways of presenting!  One of my own personal favorite presentations was from a SaladMaster rep named Cristina Stratos-Pigeon.  Her presentation was full of humor and she really knew her stuff.  I learned from her to incorporate humor into my communication, and it’s been well received.

Idea #19: Go to garage sales and thrift stores and buy up every book you can find that has to do with anything business-minded people would read.  Get a stamp or label that says “For the best home based business…”, then donate that book to the local library.  That book will be read over and over again and you’ll get exposure!

Idea #20: Partner with car sales people!  People go looking at cars all the time but have no money.  If they tell the salesperson that they have no money, have the salesperson say, “Hey, I know someone that can help with that…” and make a deal to give them something in return.

Idea #21: Sponsor a sports team!  Your name will be on a lot of shirts, parents will want to know what you do and you’ll generate leads!

Casey has a full 147 of these ideas, so be sure to visit his website and listen to this recorded call and check out his products.  It’s well worth your time! http://www.caseyeberhart.com

That’s it for now…see you soon!

Remember…what you send out, you’ll get back!
